Some of the best creations begin with an unexpected turn. While shaping this live-edge walnut board, a naturally deep worm groove appeared that couldn't simply be worked away. Rather than hide it, I let the wood lead the design, transforming it into a hand-carved olive branch that celebrates the tree's story.
At 29" long, Turning Point is made for generous spreads and memorable gatherings. Rich walnut grain, a flowing live-edge, and thoughtful craftsmanship make this more than a serving board-it's a reminder that the most meaningful pieces often come from embracing the unexpected.
