Thank you for choosing a handcrafted board from Ree'Designs by Debbie! With a little care, your board will provide years of beautiful service in your kitchen.

Cleaning

• Wash by hand with warm water and mild dish soap.

• Dry immediately with a towel. For boards without rubber feet, stand to dry. This will prevent warping.

• Never soak your board or leave it standing in water.

Do Not

• Do not place your board in the dishwasher.

• Do not use it in the microwave or oven.

• Do not leave it outdoors or in direct sunlight for extended periods.

Conditioning

Wood naturally dries out over time. To keep your board looking its best, apply a food-safe cutting board oil and board butter once a month or whenever the surface begins to look dry or dull. When board is clean and dry, rub a generous amount of oil on all sides of the board. Allow the oil to absorb for several hours or overnight, then wipe off excess. Next, rub in wood butter all over the board and let dry. Rub off any excess.

Odour Removal

If your board develops odours, sprinkle coarse salt over the surface and scrub with half a lemon. Let mixture dry on the board for 20-30 minutes. Scrape off, rinse, dry thoroughly. Apply a light coat of oil if needed.

A Note About Natural Wood

Every board is handcrafted from real hardwood. Variations in grain, colour, knots, and character are part of what makes each piece unique. As wood naturally responds to changes in humidity and temperature, minor movement over time is normal.

Thank you for supporting handmade craftsmanship. I hope your board becomes part of many memorable meals and gatherings for years to come!

Custom Orders

Looking for something made just for you? Maybe an "out of stock" item has caught your eye and you are interested in one like it? I'd love to help bring your idea to life.

Whether you're celebrating a wedding, anniversary, housewarming, birthday, retirement, thank-you gift for your client, or simply looking for the perfect piece for your own home, I create custom boards designed with your vision in mind.

The Process

Every custom order begins with a conversation. We'll discuss:

• Size and style

• Wood species (based on availability)

• Design preferences

• Intended use

• Pricing

I'll work with you to create a piece that's both beautiful and functional.

Payment

Custom orders require full payment before work begins. Once the design, size, wood species, pricing and estimated completion time are confirmed, payment will be requested and work will begin once payment is received.

Timing

Each custom piece is handcrafted one at a time. Completion times vary depending on the project and current workload, but I'll provide an estimated timeline when your order is confirmed.

A Note About Natural Wood

Wood is a natural material, so every piece will have its own unique grain, colour, and character. These natural variations are what make each board truly one of a kind.

Returns

Because custom pieces are made specifically for you, custom orders cannot be returned or refunded unless they arrive damaged or there is an error on my part.

If you have an idea you'd like to discuss, I'd love to hear from you. Let's create something uniquely yours.
